Strange sound quality with discord voice channels?

I'm not sure if it's a mistake but here's my problem: I really like to talk to people in the discord and connect to a JBL heatset (I use a huawei mate p30 lite in other words the problem is on the cell phone) when I'm in a voice channel / call the sound quality starts to get bad for everything whether music or sounds from games and the people on discord it sounds so dull, so it sounds recognizably no idea how to describe it but definitely not as it should actually sound {sorry if certain passages are poorly described or there are spelling mistakes in the text}

That is probably ne automatic Windows setting that says that everything is turned down when something comes in, you can check the equalizer of windows once accessible via the control panel or the speaker icon on it and in the slightly larger window on mixer or by right-clicking.

Otherwise there are still the audio options of discord itself in which that can also be set, usually means mute or quiet background noise, something like that.
