I own the Huawei mate 10 pro and have not had any big problems so far. Since today, however, I can no longer be heard when making calls, neither when I'm called or calls. I can only be heard when I connect the headphones and then answer. What can it be and how can I fix it?

Maybe the smarty got wet?

I think I had an app where you could check the mic for function because I had something similar was, however, the s2 thus already a time ago

You can even call yourself on another tele and test times on what mic you talk about the headset or the tele

If restarting the phone has not done anything, there's still the option to reset it to factory settings. But I think that too will not fix your problem. Since only helps sending and repair, you should still have warranty on the device.

If the device does not do anything, it is waterproof and dustproof to IP67.

Suggestion for error limitation by hopefully continuing remote diagnosis:

, Call yourself on the fixed line using the mobile phone handsfree.

For handsfree activation the second microphone is activated on the underside of the cellphone (next to the USB socket) and on the upper edge of the cellphone (on the left the 3.5mm jack for earphones, on the right a small opening for the 2nd microphone).

, If the hands-free operation works properly, the lower microphone (bottom of the device next to the USB socket) is defective.

The lower microphone is i.d.R. For the pure "listener mode"

(Phoning without handsfree, headset or Bluetooth listener etc.)

used.

For the defect of the lower microphone speaks i.a. Also the lt. Problem described symptomatology that you only with head or. Earphone operation are heard by your interlocutors.

Remedy: With resetting the device to factory settings etc. Is m.E. No success to be expected. Here would be a hardware problem and no software problem.

For the "normal citizen" that is possibly. Defective microphone without technical knowledge unfortunately not repairable. If still given warranty, assert this warranty claim as soon as possible. Otherwise, only the paid repair (replacement of the defective microphone) would be left.
