Mobile phone sound gone?

The following situation: Friday evening, drinking a glass or two while tidying up the kitchen, which also includes washing up. Suddenly I knock my glass over and the contents are distributed among other things over my mobile phone. There are no more noises coming from my cell phone. I restart it, the Huawei logo with the usual sound is shown to me as usual, there's no sound on Youtube or during a game. Start again to hear the Huawei intro sound again, but nothing in the game or on Youtube. Is my cell phone scrap or not?

A cell phone with water damage can only be switched on again when it is dry.
