Which device is more suitable?

I have two laptops here and wanted to know because I have no idea of processors and so which is better suited for video editing.

Huawei Matebook D Ryzen the cheapest option

or

Or the Acer Swift 3 (the 699 euro variant)

I would take the expensive because there's more power in it

There are several models, some have the Ryzen 7 2700U and others the Ryzen 5 2500U. It is the Ryzen 7 2700U due to its higher clock a little faster, even if not really crucial. Both processors have the same number of cores and are also otherwise as far as I can see identical. Choose the laptop that appeals to you the most on the design and other features (ports, keyboard, etc).

For video editing you need a large memory, a fast processor and data bus. Otherwise, you will eventually go insane because everything loads so long and your hard drive is always full. You will soon lose the fun of cutting.
There's only the 699 euro option in question. If you can - rather more!
