I would like to broadcast Amazon Prime Video from my phone (Huawei P 20 Pro) to the TV (old Phillips TV). I had an HDMI cable, because only the picture was transmitted and now I have such a miracast device borrowed and there works only the sound.
Is there any device that allows me to watch Prime Video on the TV that is not Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV Stick?
Please only answer if you have one hundred percent of an idea that this device you call also works.
It's probably not about prime video but generally about your phone (tablet?) Reflect on the TV. This was sometimes via HDMI cable, but is no longer supported. Incidentally, the sound could and still can be heard easily via the headphone output, connected to the amplifier. Do you mean with "Miracast device" a Chromecast stick? If the HDMI does not deliver a picture, it may be because your "old" TV does not "understand" the pin assignment of the "new" HDMI cable. Then you have bad cards. Does the HDMI input work with other sources? If so, it's a mystery to me. Chromecast and Firetv should actually work. However, I do not know an alternative. The funktoiniern all according to the same principle.
You twisted and misunderstood everything. If I say I want to watch Prime videos then I would like to watch Prime videos too. And with miracast device I mean miracast device.
And not on the HDMI cable is missing the picture but on the miracast stick is missing the picture. About HDMI cable is missing the sound.
And if all work according to the same principle then I would probably have no problems.
not very helpful your contribution that only says that you do not know

So you can't express it even more clearly.
