I have the following problem for days: I can no longer see the status of my friends on WhatsApp, although they are still posting regularly. Through a conversation yesterday, we have come first. We tested it, my status is visible to my contacts & me, but I can't see any status from my friends anymore. I tried everything, whatsapp reinstalled, mobile on and off, access restrictions lifted… Never had problems with WhatsApp, the only difference is that I currently shuttle between two cities, but this was never a problem before. Who has an idea what it is & what I should do? I own a normal Huawei P20lite with Android 9, the WhatsApp version is 2. 19.224

No, not right. They also checked, they said, normally I should be able to see their status.

Maybe you can write to Whatsapp support and explain your problem. The answers (at least for me) usually quite fast (no longer than 24h answer).
