I have a password pattern I forgot. I come in with the fingerprint sensor and Face Id but if it asks for an update then I have a problem. Any ideas?
Reset cellphone or hack password. That should be possible.

You can lock your smartphone via the Google account, thus assign a PIN and then unlock your device with this PIN.
The unlock pattern should now be reset

As far as I know there's no other option but to perform a hard reset (i.e. To delete all data). At least with Samsung cell phones, there's also an explicit warning that the cell phone must be completely reset if the pattern is forgotten.
Ok do exactly the following:
-Turn off your cell phone
- switch it on again by holding the loudspeaker volume key and the on / off key pressed -> keep it pressed until the huawei logo appears.
-Then you get to a special menu by using the speaker buttons to navigate period. So the loudspeaker is louder and the loudspeaker is below and as if you press the button briefly is almost "ok" or "select".
Navigate to Wipedata / factory reset and select it.
This will reset all settings, including your key lock… Apps and photos should stay on it, but a backup copy never hurts
