Password required after restarting the device?

This is lately more often when turning on my Huawei P20 Lite displayed. The problem is that I have a password to unlock my phone and no pattern, but when this screen comes up (password is required after rebooting the device) and I want to unlock my phone I have to enter some pattern I do not know. My question now is if I can show it off somehow or anything, because whenever I try to enter the pattern or drawing is wrong and I have to wait 1 hour until I can use my phone again.

Then there was probably a mistake. Normally, you can always enter the password. Or. Do you have that too? If that's exactly what happens. If you can't log in anymore, you need to contact support.
