Build and develop a 5G network. See e.g. Huawei
For radio engineering physics and electrical engineering. For all sensible networking IT. I strongly assume that pretty much every science is represented at Huawei.
Why didn't the USA or Germany do it?
Well with Germany that's a good question. I think it's due to a lack of investment and also will. The classic industries like cars etc. Are just too much in focus here.
The United States has one of the largest mobile technology manufacturers: Cisco. They can very well keep up with Huawei. And Europe in general is not left out. Nokia and Ericson are also developing radio technology.
Nokia is junk and currently can't keep up innovatively.
This speech is like saying that the Germans invented the car and the internal combustion engine.
Yes, they had invented the first concept. Individual inventions are thanks to individuals who accidentally started something at some point. The others (e.g. Japanese) are also doing innovative or more innovative research.
Well, if all Asian countries are so innovative, I would assume that they are much more efficient. But I'll look at the list here
https://de.wikipedia.org/...t_pro_Kopf
this is probably not confirmed.
This was not about prosperity.
It was about innovation. It was also about ethnic groups.
So you have to keep in mind that 30% of the engineers in Microsoft are Asian.
Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong are already at DE level even when it comes to prosperity.
China Taiwan are smarter than the Germans. See IQ average and school performance.
Why are they poorer? China has overpopulation and they started 100 years later than Germany and had political problems. You are currently trying to fill the gap with your own innovation and also by copying / copying. See China after 50 years.
That would only tell me if it were a sensible indication that Asians are strong in the field of computer science. There are many more areas. And even there I would say that the United States is ahead.
Apart from this. Microsoft has employees from all over the world. They are actively looking for the best. Asians make up 60% of the world's population. https://de.statista.com/themen/75/weltbevoelkerung/. I would say that they are strongly underrepresented.

India, South Asia, East Asia, Pakistan etc. Are excluded here.
This is about the North Asian
https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.2466/04.17.CP.4.15
This study confirms that the North Asians are smarter than the Europeans.
This study also answers the question of why
However, most of the scientific discoveries come from Europe, and Europeans have won 20 times more Nobel Prizes than the Northeast Asians.
found the reason
We argue that this is not explained by the IQ, but by interracial personality differences that are underpinned by differences in gene distribution. In particular, the variance in scientific performance is explained by differences in curiosity (DRD4 7 repetition), psychological stability (5HTTLPR long form) and individualism (mu-opioid receptor gene; OPRM1 G allele). Northeast Asians tend to be lower in these psychological characteristics, which we believe is necessary for exceptional scientific achievements. Since these characteristics comprise a positive matrix, we have created a q-index (measurement of curiosity) from these gene frequencies among the world populations. It can be seen that both the IQ value and the q index make a significant contribution to the number of Nobel Prizes per capita.
I still don't see the connection between smart and IQ. Your study even says that there's no clear connection between academic performance and IQ.
Your assumption is. Asians have the higher IQ and better grades. So they're smarter and have to have more Nobel Prizes.
But I don't think that higher grades and a higher IQ necessarily mean smart. People with good grades are usually smart. But that doesn't mean that every smart person has good grades.
The study also doesn't confirm a lot. As already said. The study completely ignores social effects. Common opinion in science, however, is that something like academic performance is primarily influenced by social factors.
It's like examining whale death and the number of televisions. Of course I will find that the number of televisions has increased in the time when more whales die. Since modern whale fishing has existed, there have also been televisions. This does not mean that the two sizes have something to do with each other.
After ignoring important factors, the study is not very meaningful to me. There are enough other studies that come to different results that take far more factors into account.
