I believe that the fact that cell phones are quite popular in this world and that is why they are mass-produced is known to everyone. Because about 3 billion people have one worldwide. It is more than logical that this market is fairly flooded from an economic point of view and that thousands of manufacturers compete against each other. It is very important for companies to manage production as cheaply as possible so that the end product ends up on the market cheaply and convinces customers with better features and specs. It can therefore be assumed that millions of cell phones are currently being manufactured in China. As already mentioned, production costs play a very large role. That's why everything is designed as cheaply as possible: from location, working conditions, machines, deliveries to the components of the smartphones, savings are made. I don't know anything about this area at all, but I suspect that a new high-end cell phone from z. B. Samsung, which costs 1,300 euro on the market, is definitely less than 500 euro in production (correct me if I'm wrong. These are only my guesses). Since a cell phone is a well-known, discussed and popular item, I then wonder whether it is not possible with today's means to build a "real" high-end device, which of course is not mass-produced. This device would have to be unique and was only used for science and marketing purposes (i.e. To show what would be theoretically possible). Because with cars there are also "concept cars" which are not available for purchase, but were built anyway and look like part of the future. Shouldn't this also be possible with cell phones? I introduce myself B. A borderless cell phone in front. Or one made of glass that you can see through. The material would also be made of gold instead of metal and diamond glass or something. The hardware would be almost as good as a gaming PC and the camera as professional. Is there such a thing?
Would appreciate you watched too many films 😅 sry
So the most expensive "cell phone" I've ever used is a satellite phone. Meanwhile very small and for me the best there's.
Lots of text without a paragraph… That's why I only answer the main question:
Super luxury cell phones for the super rich people - if you look at the best of the best cell phones - have no greater performance, they are only made more expensive on the outside: with gold, platinum and diamonds.
That's not what I meant. I did not ask whether there's a commercially available "Concept Smartphone", but whether any large company that has a lot of money and experience has built one before.
How long will the thing remain a so-called "high-tech smartphone"? The part will be overhauled again in a few weeks and will have to be retrofitted, because another great manufacturer is developing so-called indispensable features that nobody actually needs, but everyone has to have so as not to miss the latest Trent. And this nonsense goes on and on. This does not lead to anything meaningful.
So the case would be made of gold instead of metal? 👍
What do you think is gold? 🤭
