I've been surfing with a USB + antenna for about 2 months - with a T-Online mobile phone contract.
My problem is now - every time - when I close a game on Steam - something turns on the connection. Then 8mb / s is no longer downloaded - but uploaded and then I have extremely bad internet for 2 minutes. Unless I tap the antenna "gently" from the side.
Where exactly is the problem?
As a first rough guess it seems to me that maybe this antenna is slowly giving up the ghost.
In general, I'm surprised that you managed to get a usable connection with such a temporary solution - LTE and then via W-LAN to the PC, if I understand that correctly. It can of course also be due to the W-LAN, which unfortunately can be affected by a lot of external influences.
Another possibility would be that at certain times more people simply dial into the LTE radio cell. LTE is a so-called "shared medium". Everyone gets a piece of cake of the same size. The more people dial into a radio cell, the smaller the individual pieces and thus your connection, the slower.
How does it look for you with a DSL connection?
