As lately I have noticed öffters sometimes I can connect to any VPN if I have certain networks (for example Wi-Fi the Norwegian Airline or Wlan hotspot of a hotel with internet provider Saalbach AG or at some public hotspots).
The strange thing I find here is as soon as I disable Wi-Fi and connect me via mobile data and then the same VPN connection would like to open this works without problems.
Now my question is blocked by such networks VPN? And if so how?
and if not, what do I have to reconfigure on my end device (Huawei P10, Samsung XCover, …) so that I can establish the VPN connection?
as already said above if I verwede mobile data I can build the VPN connection without problems, that is access data correct serverip agrees server runs also etc etc etc
Sounds like the public wlans blocked the ports, which your VPN needs. Many ports that are not needed for "everyday surfing" are gladly closed by the providers to restrict the "exploitation of illegal purposes". You can try if your VPN provider has other ports to choose from, or try a different provider.
That was already my guess my problem is that I'm currently not at home otherwise I would have my vpn server on another port and then tried again
Basically that's your problem:
Building a connection on port 443 or port 80 mostly helps
