Change source code for app?

Does anyone know about source codes? I have different smartphone devices where I want to install an apk, everything works fine on Samsung, but on the other devices like Huawei the apk can be installed but not opened, I get an error message in a source code format that same on other devices. Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with source codes and would like to ask if there's a way to make this Apk practically compatible with other devices?

You can decompile apks, so it would be possible.

The apk only works on Android 8.0
