I need some information. The situation is: you have a smartphone A (Samsung), where WhatsApp data from earlier times is still stored (stored in the phone, but not on Google Drive), and a smartphone B (Huawei), the last one (with the same SIM card ) was used with new WhatsApp data that is saved on Google Drive. If you move the SIM card from B to A and WhatsApp downloads the data from B and installs it on A, will the older WhatsApp data that was in A be deleted? - The second question: The WhatsApp data is saved on Google Drive. If new data is backed up there the next time it is saved (e.g. From another smartphone, but with the same SIM card), will the newer data be ADDED to the other, or will the old data be deleted and replaced by the new one? Is there a risk that data will be lost?
In my experience it is when you log on to your new mobile phone on WhatsApp as before, i.e. Chats and so on, only you have to save the pictures on an SD card and move them, otherwise you will lose them.
Is it possible to have WhatsApp data from both smartphones on the same phone? Without overwriting or deleting one or the other?
