Micro-Usb to HDMI cable with a splintered screen?

First I try to explain the facts to you:

My cell phone (Huawei p-smart 2018) just fell down very unhappily

The display is now very broken. (Yellow, green, red lines and large black spots) (example:

Now my question would be:

If I buy a Micro-Usb to Hdmi adapter and connect my mobile phone to my screen, would the normal mobile phone background appear on my screen, or the image of the broken display?

1. Your cell phone should be equipped for it.

2. One would probably have to activate the menu in the cell phone.

I doubt it will work!

That won't work because your cell phone has to support the function
