I have a cable with one end an hdmi connection and the other end usb c. Hoping to be able to play tablet content on the TV, I tried to connect the tablet to the TV. However, the television says there's no signal. The only thing that my tablet "offers" is whether I want to transfer photos or files, just load it or load it the other way round or want to have it midi. If I tap one of the options it immediately jumps to reverse loading. In countless videos it is said that it is a very effective way via cable and works without problems. Does anyone have a tip before I send the cable back? PS: my tablet is a huawei mediapad m5 lite

Do you have a very old TV?
The TV has been around for a few years but it works, even older TVs were used in videos
Then get a better cable.
