I want to get a laptop, which should not be more expensive than 1000 euro. After some research, I was able to narrow my selection to two. The Zenbook S UX391UA or the Huawei Matebook 13. Does anyone have experience with them and can give me advantages and disadvantages? Or do you even have a better laptop for around 1000? I would like to do without a dedicated video card, because I do not want to play games with it and do not want to do any video editing. Processors of the 8th generation would be cool. Dell XPS is too expensive for me and the XPS 13 with the i3 is too stupid for me
Already a little closer. What do you want to do? I5 or rather I7?
I want a laptop that accompanies me well through study and beyond. An i3 is too old and weak for me. I5 would be the golden middle, but I do not give up on an i7, if that is still in the budget area. For example, Zenbook S has an i7 and you get it at saturn for under 1000. I just need a good laptop for everyday use and for writing documents. In principle, a yoga with Pentium processor is sufficient, but I would like to invest in something, which will go along well for the next years.
Okay good. Just for information, there are also new i3. It depends on the generation, the number that comes afterwards.
For a relatively new laptop with i5 (7th or 8th generation) and 8gb ram you can easily spend 1000, but it is also much cheaper.

Or with ryzen 5 as cpu:

They are relatively similar in performance, with ryzen having the better graphics, the other the slightly better processor.
So if you do not care so much about design you do not have to spend so much
Maybe a surface would be something for you, but costs 1100 with pen
