Install Google services Huawei?

As is well known, Huawei no longer has Google services, and accordingly does not pay. But can't you just download Chrome, play store, for example, from the Internet?

Br

No. But it doesn't matter because the Huawei AppGalery is just as good.

Unfortunately, a little effort is required to retrospectively install the Google PlayStore on a Huawei (from the P 40 series).

! Please note the information at the end of these instructions!

First of all, it is best to make a data backup. This can be done via the cloud or on the PC or USB stick.

To do this, go to → Settings → System & updates → Backup & restore → Data backup

To use the PlayStore you need some files. You can download these files from the following link:

https://c.gmx.net/@324819600321544370/hTTW72bORpylmHl2uJgfgw * if the link is no longer up-to-date, look at https://www.gizchina.com/2020/02/26/how-to-install-google-apps-on-huawei-phones-a-new-method/ * to see if it has changed.

* Loading these files is at your own risk! I could not sufficiently verify the source.

You have to unpack these files and load them onto a USB C stick. You can then use this as an external memory on the phone.

You can find a suitable stick under the following link:

Click on the button below to load the content of ws-eu.amazon-adsystem.com.

Load content

There are now two directories that you both need one after the other. You can take a look at the file app on the phone.

First of all, please reset the date. This can be done via → Settings → Date & Time → Automatically deselect and enter a date from 2013.

Now go to → Settings → System & Updates → Backup & Restore → Data Backup → External Storage → USB Storage

and select the loaded file there:

To install the data backup you have to enter the password "firlando234". After you have made this you will find a new app on the phone.

Please start this and ignore the error messages but confirm all entries. Please note that you need an existing internet connection. The app starts loading different files. Ignore the errors here too.

Then go to the second folder via the Files app and manually install the 0-5 app

After the successful installation, please set the date to Automatic again → Settings → Date & time → Set automatically.

Now open the installed "FRP Bypass" app and log in to Google. To do this, go to the three points in the top right and use the browser to log in.

If the registration does not work then install the app 6 Install (Google Framework) from the stick. In my test you should always install them in any case. Should you be successful, the first messages will arrive. The message that the Google Play Service needs your help is particularly frequent. You could ignore this because we will remove it.

Now you should see for yourself under → Settings → Users & Accounts whether your Google account has been created. Has it been created you have done everything right up to now. If this is not the case, simply start the last two steps again starting with the registration via the "FRP Bypass" app.

Now we have to remove the "Google Play Service" app again to find the app under → Settings → Apps and uninstall it.

Then go to the second folder via the Files app and manually install the 7th app 7.GMS.Mod2Fix.apk, which in turn installs the "Google Play Service" again.

Now you open the "Play Store" for the first time and install 6-8 apps. It doesn't matter which ones and you don't have to wait for them to be loaded.

Now we need to clear the "Google Framework" app cache and data. To do this, under → Settings → Apps, search for the Google app there are then three displayed, but now go to the three point in the top right and click on Show system processes. Now the "Google Framework" app is displayed in the list. Select it and delete cache and data there. Please do both until there's 0 kb. If that doesn't work, just take a step back and try again in a different order.

Now restart the phone!

Now we have to remove the "Google Play Service" app again to find the app under → Settings → Apps and uninstall it.

Then go to the second folder via the Files app and manually install the 8th app 8.GMS.STD.apk, which in turn reinstall the "Google Play Service"

But I heard that you can't use Youtube or anything, is that correct?

Br

No, that's not right. However, you can't install the app, you have to use it via the browser, which is not annoying.
