I have the new Huawei p40 pro and downloaded the Pokémon go app, only the message "Authentication failed. Try again" and I can't log in with Facebook either. I had previously been able to play it without problems on my Huawei p40 pro, but unfortunately not anymore.
Does anyone know what it could be and how you could play the app?
Could be a problem with the server. Just wait and try again later.
I don't know if it might be because the Huawei p40 doesn't have Google play. Because when I log into the Pokemon app on my old p30 cell phone, it works without any problems
I'm having the same problem on my Honor 9x. Did you find a way around this yet?
There is not a way around it yet so far I know I have the same phone (Huawei p40 pro) but it doesn't work because we don't have Google support which is controlling the root devices
