My Huawei P10 lite has fallen into the water and can't turn itself on. When I try to turn it on sometimes a short vibration, but the screen does not light up. I can't open the case as there are no screws. The only thing I can "open" is the sim card holder.

Take away or throw away

how do you come up with the idea that you could repair a cell phone?

Sa

This is the problem with cell phones with built-in batteries (which are not waterproof). Normally you should remove the battery directly, if the phone has become wet. It can be assumed that a short circuit has already caused considerable damage, so that the cell phone is probably beyond saving.

Da

Well, a classic water damage stop. Unfortunately, you can't do much anymore. Previously you could remove the battery and let the smartphone dry, this is not possible today because of the permanently installed batteries without much effort.

What to do?

In my place, I would actually consider a repair. There are repair service providers who do that from 15 euro.
