Can I install the huawei p8 twrp (https://twrp.me/huawei/huaweip8.html) on my Huawei p8 lite 2017 with emui 8 and android 8? Or is there a few important things to consider?

I will definitely try it out so I can restore the old recovery backup so the default or later?

I think you can't backup it, but you can re-install the EMUI Rom anytime, and the recovery will go back to the original recovery
