I have a harman Kardon go play 2 and my mother a jbl xtreme.
Both have within a month to run the problem briefly on battery and then turn off at 50% or just very quickly are empty.
With the jbl xtreme it hangs when loading on 3/5 points and the go play starts after he has turned off immediately at 3 and is in a short time back to 5/5 points.
I found an article with a similar problem online where a battery change did not bring. Now I've wondered if it has something to do with my phone? We both use the Huawei p20 pro.
Before that everything went perfectly. Jbl xtreme is ~ 4 years old, have used them used once used, go play is now almost a year old, because the equipment insurance for 20 euro which expires in 4 days.
The 100% has nothing to do with the cell phone, connection is only about blue tooth, so no direct connection. What kind of music does the speaker care for?
jbl hangs at about 50%, because the battery seems to have a high self-discharge, or too low internal resistance, and belongs in this case exchanged. If the fault is in the electronics, so the charging voltage is too low, then battery replacement does not help
In contrast, go play should have too high an internal resistance, since the surface of the poles is likely to be destroyed chemically and therefore too small. Battery replacement helps to 95%. An electronic error is unlikely. Quickly claim the warranty, if the warranty also applies to the battery.
Both batteries may have gotten the problem due to too long non-use. Only use once in 4 years and not pay attention to the state of charge in between? No, that is not possible.
