Huawei p20 Pro messages are not displayed on lock screen?

For a few days now I own the Huawei P20 Pro. Before, I had a Samsung Galaxy S8+. The Samsung received messages in a small preview on my lock screen. Especially from WhatsApp and my news.

However, this does not work for Huawei anymore. I checked all settings. For hours I searched and searched Youtube. It just does not work. To see if I have received messages, I always have to unlock the phone first. Cumbersome.

Does anyone know what else I can do? Or is that no longer possible with the Huawei P20 Pro?

Is the place where normally the notifications are just empty?

Nothing is displayed. Neither in the screen bar above nor on the lock screen. Only when I unlock the phone can I see that I have received a message from eg What's app or Instagram.

Both apps have all the necessary permissions.

Had the problem synonymous, For me it was the lock screen style. When you apply one of the themes, the lock screen style also changes. Just reset it to default (it was the left for me). After that I had the notifications on it again.
