Whatsapp messages no longer in lock screen?

A few weeks ago I edited 1, 2 settings on my Huawei P10lite (Android version 8.0.0) from 'boredom', which I unfortunately did not remember. 🙈 Since then, I have no longer been able to see WhatsApp messages (message preview) on my lock screen… 😭 And the vibration tone only comes on when I press the key lock.

In general, almost no app notifications are displayed on the lock screen. What have I changed? And how do I get it back? If possible without having to put the whole cell phone in the beginning… 🙁

This is likely due to the fact that you have deactivated an option like "Show messages on lock screen". You'll probably find that under Device Security or Notifications
