Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or HUAWEI P20 Pro?

I can get one of the two for free, I just have to decide. Well, the most important thing for me is actually multimedia. I watch a lot of videos, listen to music and watch a lot of pictures / photos. I do not care about games. Battery life should be good too… Although I always have a power bank here.- The camera I really do not care.

In itself, I find the note 8 better because it has the S-Pen (which I will not really use much, I think), an SD card slot and also the 3.5 blade for headphones that the P20 does not have (I hear a lot Music on headphones on mobile phone).

On the other hand I find the P20 just beautiful, especially with the Twilight color. Today I had both in the hand in the shop and found so from the very first impression rather the P20 more beautiful, so I had such a "wow" moment. But in the long run maybe the grade 8 will be the better choice? I think both were good in the hand, although the note MINIMAL could be smaller, but that does not bother me.

I'm having a hard time making a decision because I should meet them today.

If you have the option then Apple iPhone 7 or 8.

And if not then Huawei P20 it's a bit better from a technical point of view.

If you do not want bluetooth headphones, then the touch.

I personally would probably buy the P20 because of the camera.

If you could get a Samsung Note 8 or Huawei P20 I would never recommend an iPhone 7/8.

What, I rarely hear anyone I know wants the iPhoneX.

The note 8 has for me somehow the "honest" display, even Samsung among each other pop me the AOLEDs too much the colors. The note may AdobeRGB up to 97%, which is important for the photos.

The sound unit is (still) better in the Samsung, so again point for the Note8

Ok in the cam Samsung has to fit, since Huawai is better and the battery.

The P20pro is too small for me, so when it comes to size (games, pictures, video) then the Note8.

OT: Huawai supposedly works on a real 7 inch smartphone (Mate20pro?), But does not fit here. But also look at it when it should come in DE.

I myself have the N8, bothers me "only" the low battery life and bit weakens it in LowLight. Hope helps something.
