Data transfer from galaxy to huawei?

I now have the Huawei P10 and want to transfer all my data from the Samsung Galaxy S6 to this one. I thought I could use the app Smart Switch, but somehow the two devices do not find each other. Why is that? Smart Switch tells me all the time it does not find my new Galaxy, while I have no new Galaxy at all, but as I said a Huawei.
