Amazon app store not working, why?

I own a huawei p30 pro and the Amazon app store just won't work. I always get the same error message "Uh oh something went wrong" and don't understand why. I have uninstalled and installed the app several times but without success. The funny thing is that a friend of mine owns exactly the same cell phone, but it works perfectly with him.

Does anyone know about the Amazon app store please help me!

Reset the app data and restart the phone
