Huawei P10 Lite or Samsung Galaxy A5 2017?

I want to buy a new phone that is not that expensive and wanted to know what's better. The Huawei P10 lite or the Samsung Galaxy a5 2017?

I may even tend to Huawei because it gave the phone 4 ram and up to 2.1 GHz.

But what do you think?

The Huawei P10 lite. Definitely! Samsung is good only on paper. My mother has an A5 2016 and only problems with it. I once had an S4 - and only problems with it. Here in the forum about one hundred people complain daily about their Samsung phones, but hardly to complain about people on their Huawei phones.

Take the Samsung!
I gave Huawei a lot of opportunities and each time I was disappointed. Be it the grotty customer service or the unthought-of operating system, which you have to rebuild every two to five months (yes, after what you do) during normal use.

I never had that on Samsung. I did not have experience with the customer service, because this was simply not necessary. The device is also slower, but you realize that at the earliest after a year and there it is also completely fine.

Likewise the processing. Although this has been drastically improved by both Samsung and Huawei in recent years, Samsung still has its nose much ahead.

So take DEFINITIVE THE A5!

But my background is that in the Samsung galaxy a Reien there's already the a6, a7 and the newest a8 and Huawei is the newest the p20

Priced, both phones are approximately in the same area. The displays are very similar and deliver the same good pictures. Same with the battery: Both phones have 3,000 mAh battery capacity. The processors are similar, maybe Huawei is slightly ahead because of a higher frequency and more RAM. The Galaxy A5 (2017) is waterproof, the P10 Lite is not. In addition, the A5 (unlike the P10 lite) has an air pressure sensor and an always-on display. In return, only the Huawei P10 Lite has an LED for notifications and a slow motion feature in the camera. Speaking of the camera, they are similarly good again. The A5 has the higher resolution, the P10 lite for a better aperture.

Now you have to decide what is important to you. I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) as it generally offers more features. In addition, Samsung also offers, in my opinion, the better customer service and the nicer design.
