Mobile phone is no longer after water damage - what now?

My cell phone fell into the water… I've had it dry in rice for almost a week now, but it does not work anymore. That was not so bad now, because it was already a bit older, but I would have liked to pass it on to my mother. Is there any way to get it repaired? Can I save my internal phone data? And what else can I do with it - can you possibly sell such a device as a "spare parts supplier"? It's a Huawei P10 Lite, so not so out of date…

Rice does not bring much, the longer the mobile lies around the more oxidized and the sooner there's a short, if the battery was not taken out.
Read out memory card You should create yourself, internal memory can possibly make a company but they have nice prices for it.
Repair I see critically after net week can work but can't work either.

You can have it sent in and repaired. But not cheap. Whether it will work again after that is questionable, you will get your data in any case again
