I have the following long-term problem:
The touchscreen of my mobile phone, Huawei P8 lite (2016), has not worked for a year. At first I could no longer operate the lower part of the screen, later not at all. In between it was sometimes good, sometimes not at all. At the moment it's all over: there has been total radio silence for a quarter of a year. I've tried a lot, like restarting, shutting down, cleaning the display…
What's also weird is that it often only responds to strong pressure.
I'm not an expert, but I guess the display is broken. You can certainly have that repaired, but is it worth it?
Yes, if I have to get it repaired, I'd better buy a new one.
Did you do a reset?
So I've done a number of times to reset to factory settings
