I'm desperate!
I have had the Huawei p20 lite for 2 years and have been looking for bulletproof glass ever since. Every glass that I've had so far just tore out of nowhere after 2 weeks at the latest.
Never a fall, never a bump, never anything. Nothing at all.
After 2 weeks at the latest: crack!
Now my nephew had given me another glass and everything looked great so far. Fits perfectly, sits perfectly, no streaks, everything is great.
Now about a week has passed and: crack!
I emphasize again my smartphone has never received any kind of bump, all the glasses just tear out of nowhere.
I haven't had that on any other smartphone before. My predecessor is the Note 4 from Samsung and there's still the glass from the first day on it and it still looks like new after about 5 years, despite various falls and bumps during this time.
But with my p20 lite, a maximum of 2 weeks, then the crack comes. I can bet on it and I'm desperate.
Does anyone have any idea why this could be?
Extreme cold and then maybe warm again?
Maybe you should get away from the thought of glass and use foil instead.
Or let it be complete. The stuff is overrated anyway.
But how should I avoid that when I come in from outside in winter? Plus, I haven't had a problem with it on any other smartphone before. Then surely everyone's glasses would have to tear en masse when they come home in winter?
But foil doesn't protect against bumps, then my smartphone is exposed to constant danger.
This can very likely be due to the cold or the quality of the bulletproof glass.
And what about the warmth in summer? Then what do i do? I can't change the temperatures. And how do I recognize good quality? I've already seen a number of glasses, from expensive branded glasses to cheap glasses from the Internet. Always the same.
Already in the price and the processing.
What does that mean? From the processing, they all look the same. And as I said, I already had a number of expensive brands and a number of cheap glasses. Everywhere the same. So the price doesn't seem to say anything.
