Don't do much on WhatsApp and hardly have any contacts, but I've been told by various people recently that sometimes my profile picture just disappears.
In fact it is like this: I put the picture back in, some time later it is no longer there and at some point it just comes back. Smartphone is a Huawei P30 Lite with Android, which I'm actually happy with (rarely use it).
What might that be?
Perhaps this is because you can now define a shelf life, and then the temporarily current profile picture is replaced again. I recognize my WhatsApp contacts by name, the profile picture is a nice gimmick.
I also set the name.
How can you get around that? It bothers me somehow, my contacts always have the same picture without it being automatically deleted all the time.
This always happens to me when I turn my cell phone off and on again.
