Remove Huawei mate 20 lite google account?

I inherited a cell phone from my dad. Unfortunately, I do not get that in motion because I do not know his password and googel account.

Can I somehow make that new? New firmware or something similar on it?

Wa in recovery mode and put it on facatory fashion but he still wants the email from my dad.
