Bluetooth true wireless headset does not connect properly?

My new headset (jabra elite 65t) does not connect properly to my Huawei mate 20 lite. I bought the headphones new and when pairing, I'm instead of a Bluetooth device both headphones (left and right) individually displayed, so I can always pair with only one. Say the audio is output only via the left or right ear. Normally, both headphones should be displayed as one device.

Does anyone have experience / tips?

I do not have them but do both in the box and there would have to be a button that you hold down for a long time, the dings reseted themselves and then you can pair both
