I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro (still has Google support) and the following problem:
There are these widgets that you can have on your home screen, in this case it is about "Google Search". Whenever I open it and want to look for something, the whole thing crashes. But if I go to the normal Chrome app and enter something in the browser, then I have no problem.
I have a similar problem with Snapchat. I open it and after 15 seconds or so the app crashes.
Does anyone know what might be the cause?
It can't be the internet, I think, because YouTube, Instagram and so on all work without any problems.
Many Android users currently have the problem, you have to update Webview, https://www.netzwelt.de/...bview.html instructions for this. After that, the apps should start properly again.
The tip is great in principle, but I can't update the application. I press update and nothing happens
Then contact your manufacturer's support:-)
