Hi. On all sides I only see that z. B the Huawei Mate 30 pro has "no * pre-installed * Google Apps". What exactly is behind it? Can you install them afterwards, such as YouTube and the Google Playstore?
The biggest evil is Google Play Services (Google Mobile Services / GMS). These are also required for some non-Google apps. The services are e.g. Sign in with Google Account, Location Improvement and more. And these must be installed as a system app for functionality.
Without Google Play Services there's no Play Store or just YouTube without login.
Basically, you can install apps as a system app, but you need for root privileges. These, in turn, can't be obtained from other Huawei decisions of their own. There was news that they could make exceptions to the Mate 30 Pro.
I had also discovered another way to install Google Apps. Whether the way is still open, I do not know.
