Samsung Galaxy S8 or Huawei Mate 20 Lite?

Which of the two smartphones is recommended? Because at the store price they are not far apart, but you get the huawei in connection with a contract pretty cheap whereas the S8 is still relatively expensive.

The Mate 20 Lite is still too expensive compared to the Pocophone F1, for example. With a contract but that looks different, Huawei is there always powerful discount. That's just the old lyre, current middle-class device or last year's flagship, here bucks again, since the S8 will be two generations old in the foreseeable future. In addition, it has no dull battery.

Between the two, the Mate 20 Lite would probably be my choice, although I would rather then look to the Pocophone F1.

I would recommend the Huawei for that reason, because the Samsung mobile phones experience a very stark loss of value over a period of one year. I think that's a shame when you pay so much money for a cell phone and then after a year hardly a fraction of it more value. Then take the Huawei and change to the S8 / S9 later.

If you want to put on wireless charging, then the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be in question, because the Huawei phone has no Qi receiver coil. Huawei's only Huawei Mate RS and Huawei Mate 20 Pro, as well as the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 X, currently own the Qi coil for wireless charging.
