Hey guys this morning when I got up and wanted to turn on my cell phone, it didn't work, I thought it was because the battery was empty, but when I plugged in the cell phone it was 60%. Then I noticed that my mobile phone can't be switched off with the power button. So I can only "activate" my cell phone by plugging in the charging cable. Therefore I believe that the power button is broken / defective.
Can someone help me?
I have a
Huawei Mate 10 Lite
Then the cell phone "crashed".
The buttons only tell the operating system that they are pressed.
Only when the mobile phone is switched off does a circuit without an operating system react to start the mobile phone.
Most of the time, however, there's a reset circuit that reacts to a very long press of the power button (max 3 min) and triggers a reset. Other buttons may also have to be pressed. I don't have a huawai so can't say that. Just try holding the power button down for up to 3 minutes or until the mobile phone reacts.
Unfortunately it didn't work. I think rather that the power button is broken / defective or a cable / connection is loose.
