For about 2 days my cell phone (Huawei) has simply switched off the WLAN and switched it on again after a few seconds.
It gets pretty annoying in the long run.
And it's not because of the Wi-Fi, because my other family members don't have this problem and I don't know what it could be…
I switched my cell phone off and on a few times or reconnected to the WLAN and it doesn't help.
I ask for help.
Could also be due to the dual-band Wi-Fi router, which may do automatic band steering (router sends the end device from 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band). Some devices do not tolerate this "forced" change of the belt.
If you want to try it out, set different SSIDS (= WLAN names) for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz on the router's configuration page. And try it again, at close range with the 5 GHz SSID and further away with the 2.4 GHz SSID. If it then runs more stable, your smartphone is not dual-band compatible.
PS:
Here the FritzBox manufacturer AVM explains it
