Not yet available on Huawei?

I recently bought a Huawei for my brother. When we turned it on, we were looking for Playstore but there was no App Galary instead of Playstore. So we were looking for games there that he also had on his old mobile phone, e.g. Roblox as we were looking for it was not yet available that was there for almost all games, when will this be fixed / when can you download the games that you used to have

va

Unfortunately I have to disappoint you, since Google will no longer work with the Huawei p30, Huawei has released the app store, but since it is new there are not all games, some are not yet available. Unfortunately, this can't work for an indefinite period of time.

Fo

Which huawei?

the new ones have no google services

Ja

The problem is that Huawei operates far from Googel, which owns the Play Store. Huawei was curtailed by America, which means that they had to take Android and Google down. That doesn't mean a Play Store. Now Huawei has its own operating system, its own play area. It may be that many manufacturers will not switch, or that it will take too long. This is also the reason why Huawei is no longer bought quite as often here in Germany.

I have a p40 pro myself and have managed to install google services

Ta

If it's a Huawei P40 anything, it no longer has a google playstore

You then have to use Huawei's own AppGalery or, for example, the Amazon AppStore, if it still exists

Fo

No they have not taken down android, only google services

Ja

There's none on mine

Fo

But android is safe on it, i have the p40 pro myself

The newer Huawei models no longer have Google services due to a ban on the Americans.

However, you can work around this and still install the Playstore if the effort is not too much for you. Once installed, there are probably no problems with updates.

You can probably get around that with a little effort and install the Playstore anyway

Ta

Yes, I've already read it, but then it seems to depend on which Android version is installed and sometimes it won't work with the next update

I looked for the instructions:

Swagsell makes very good videos on this, installed my p40 pro with google
