Have all providers actually withdrawn this type of network access from distribution? I can't find anything. Does anyone know why these interesting short-term entrants have all disappeared from the market? I do not own a smartphone (no tethering possible). I use this RTL-Sim in connection with a Huawei mobile hotspot in a tablet. Thus, one is a little more independent, if no Wi-Fi is available.
Tariffs that are somewhat similar to the one in the daily flat rate range of 500MB (LTE) data volume. The Fonic-Sim daily use for 1.99 euro and 500MB per day of use comes closest to this. But actually, these new rates do not come close to this short-term use mentioned above.
Or does anyone know more?
What you are looking for is a Dayflat, which is available from various suppliers.
Thank you for your extensive answer. This Dayflat is a Zubuchoption of the Telekom and makes according to user contributions in a Telekom forum rather less joy. Obviously the 24-hour free surfing gifts can't change that much either.
As I see it, I'm fortunate to have caught this RTL surfstick rate about 2 years ago. Hopefully it will remain for existing customers for a long time. Replacement alternatives seem to be next to none.
