Problems with downloading applications?

I recently bought a Huawei matebook 13 and every time I download apps like Facebook, Shotcut or others I'm sent to the Microsoft Store where it says that these apps are not available there. What can I do?

Why don't you just bookmark the website in your browser because I don't know Facebook as an app in WIndows

if you use chrome you can possibly also add it as an (app) to the desktop so that when you open the (app) only a separate window with the respective website opens
