It's strange on my older Huawei phone:
Under memory is: 4GB total memory
In another box below, with a gray rectangle in front of it: total memory 1.86gb!
And underneath with black rectangle: Available 22.25mb
The mobile phone has been telling me again and again for a short time now "the storage space is full, I should delete something"
However, I haven't installed anything on it or put other data on it for months and there wasn't this problem…
So I have the feeling that the cell phone itself has removed 2GB? (Maybe some of the internal memory cells have broken)
Or how can that be?!
There will still be a lot of junk lying around. This can be remedied, but then you have to reinstall a lot.
Use the Huawei Internal Cleaner app, which should help a little. Then simply transfer pictures to your PC and delete apps you don't need!
The system and the apps do updates every now and then. This usually happens automatically in the background. As a result, more and more memory is used over time.
In my opinion, you won't be happy with your cell phone in the medium term. 4 GB is simply not enough these days.
To my knowledge, the cell phone creates miniature files to load them faster. Also the cache is pretty full. Did you ever delete them? Maybe something has accumulated there. Otherwise there's the "disk usage" app. You can take a closer look at where the memory is loaded.
Huawei is pretty full of 'its' cell phones. In the settings you should deactivate or uninstall quite a few apps, since you are not well equipped with 4GB anyway. You can deactivate the Huawei Suite.
The next time you have a product-related question, name the part when you ask the question so that you get a sufficiently 'clever' answer.
This includes the Android version:-)
Sorry, it is the model y360, Android 4.4 …
