Smart unlock?

I have a Huawei phone and for a while now I have not been able to access the Smart Unlock function, which is a shame. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Smart Unlock is displayed but you can't click on it.

Are the biometric data available and SmartUnlock is authorized to access them?

A stupid question, but - have you ever restarted the device?

Otherwise: how is the device locked otherwise?

If I want to access Smart Unlock, then I have to enter the 6-digit unlock code first, then I get into the menu normally.
