Cell phone repair display stick how?

Repairing my Huawei,

got me a special glue

To attach the new display, but the adhesive surface is really tiny,

to all experts, can I also put glue on the back of the display? So the silver surface in the picture.

Simply pull an adhesive strip on the edge of the plastic, press the display on it and let it harden well.

But the area is really tiny,

had tried it with a different adhesive before it came off…

Where did you put the glue on?

On the plastic edge, where was the adhesive that was originally used (i.e. By Huawei)

I would cover it up again with the new adhesive.

For this reason, you should not use such an adhesive. There are adhesive strips for the smartphone that are already cut.

In your place I would still try to glue the adhesive to the edge. If this is not possible, you could also stick it on the gray surface. But not too much.
