I'm not a friend of "new purchases" and currently also have a cell phone from the year 2013.

In between, I had the "Y6 2017" for a few months, because mine was broken for a short time and was quite taken with it. - Price / performance has definitely fit.

When my girlfriend broke her phone, I took care of getting my 2013 device up and running and left it to her. - By the way, she is also very happy with the part.

As for the hardware damage (display), I can't comment. - Depending on how bad that is, I would look for a replacement display and hope that a barter over new purchase is worthwhile.
