I have a little problem: I normally want to download my favorite songs from the Internet, as I always do. It always worked really well, it wasn't difficult or anything. I just downloaded the songs & they were all on my phone. But now it just happened that I wanted to download a few songs again & all the songs that I downloaded again as usual have disappeared without a trace, they are no longer saved on my mobile phone. Where do they save themselves to? I've already made a fresh start, they just disappeared without a trace. Even with the music players that can be downloaded from the PlayStore, the music can no longer be found…

My phone is called: Huawei Y5 2019
I always download my songs from the following links:
my free mp3
& my free mp3 bird
I also had the problem that files were sometimes gone. A certain video was missing for no reason. Then it was back and then gone again. Since then I have everything on the SD and no longer in the internal memory.
Have you ever used the file manager and explicitly looked at the folders on your mobile phone? Normally the mp3s should be visible there. I don't know which browser you use and what the download path (folder) is called.
Have a look at the "Files" app and under Downloads or Music. Otherwise you can download the music via the Google Chrome browser and then open the music under your downloads.
I would go into the operating system and search every folder.
For the next download, select the "Save as…" option. The folder in which the files "disappear" is displayed there. If you change the destination, this folder should remain selected when you save the next but one.
