According to a lot of experience and test reports, in my opinion the Huawei Y7 is not the most spectacular device that I personally held in my hand, it simply lacks many possible options where even smartphones with Android 6.0 have clearer and even better options than the Dub Lx1, well Regarding my question as follows, I recently rummaged through the settings and found that the storage space was, in my opinion, very low, so I appropriated a 64GB SD card. Then I came across the option "standard path" which roughly means in short the installation line, for example an app, lands directly or would have to land on the SD card, which is / would not be the case for me now. Does anyone here in the network know what's wrong with this Huawei device?
The y series are entry-level devices with minimum functions.
The standard path also relates to downloads, recordings etc.
Apps can't be installed / saved on sd because the memory cards are simply too slow for current apps and many times slower than the built-in ssd
I understand, well, the only problem with me is that I first have to install the app on the internal memory before I can move it to the SD card. It's easy to do with the files.
If this is an older device that you have, it usually no longer works. I have e.g. The Huawei Mate 20x 5g and it doesn't work there. With some older devices this is possible, but as you have already written, the app must first be installed on the internal memory so that the app data can be moved afterwards
It's a Huawei Y7 2019 model Dub Lx1 Android: 8.1.0 / Emui Version: 8.2.0, in that sense it's not that old now.
If you get a new cell phone from Huawei, it's best not to get any more y they often have quirks. The next good thing from the price range would be e.g. The Huawei Nova 5t
