Is it worthwhile for mobile phones (especially Huawei P8Lite) to have the WLAN module replaced? Does anyone know how much that costs? I do not want to buy a new phone…
I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem.
You can't do that.
A P8 is a very modern device. Up to date. Exchanging is not possible. The software that addresses the module must fit.
In addition, all components are soldered firmly. With modern devices, the WLAN is already integrated in a chip, which is responsible for several things.
This is a BGA. A chip under which all solder joints are located so that they can only be soldered with hot air, where adjacent components also become very hot and can be destroyed very quickly.
If your Wi-Fi is slow, then your router has rather a bad Internet connection. So the router is not to blame. It is the connection to your provider. Do you already have glass fiber to the house or still an asbach copper connection?
I live in Denmark. Every village has state-of-the-art fiber optics there.
I'm writing you from a 13 year old notebook. Internet so fast, you can only dream of it.
Incidentally, I watch TV on the media library of ARD. No problem. So big is the bandwidth. I could also listen to music videos on Youtube casually.
The entire post office in Denmark is now online. If you are interested… "E-Boks". Googling. Everything over 2 codes secured. A code only valid once. So intercept nothing. Since the code is no longer valid for a long time.
All just a matter of bandwidth of the internet connection.
Hopefully Germany will get the connection.
Oh well, so you can't even fix that? So with me, the WLAN does not work anymore, can't connect to all networks build (so my router is excluded because all other networks are not synonymous). I have already reset several times to factory condition. Tried without recent updates and with newly installed updates. It does not do anything: / In addition, my mobile internet runs slower than normal.
