How can I transfer videos from my Huawei 10P lite mobile phone to my laptop? I once did it with a USB cable, but instead of the videos there was just a picture of you.

Turn on and unlock your phone. Your PC can't find the device when it is locked.
On the PC, select the Start button, then select Photos to open the Photos app.
Select Import> From a USB Device and follow the instructions. You can choose which items to import and where to save them. Wait a moment for detection and transmission.

Make sure that the photos you want to import are actually on the device and not in the cloud.
